Sophie Soklaridis is the inaugural Chair in Recovery & Equity-Focused Mental Health Education, the Scientific Director of Education Research Program, and a Senior Scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and Associate Professor & Vice-Chair Mental Health Equity and EDIIA in the Department of Psychiatry, Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Her research takes a critical sociological approach on the issues of power, identity and relationships. Dr. Soklaridis' scholarly foci include patient/clients as partners in research and mental health education and the influence of power and privilege on academic medicine.
