Jackie Gruber is the Director of Professionalism at the University of Manitoba Rady Faculty of Health Sciences effective May 20, 2024. She was previously the Director of Respect, Diversity, & Inclusion (RDI) at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).  She is interested in how social locations and identity play a role in learners’ response to speaking up to power roles regarding mistreatment.  Jackie is also engaged in an exploration of speak up culture and promoting a sense of belong via creation of accessible, inclusive environments for all.
