Aimée Bouka is a rural family physician practicing in Gwich’in and Inuvialuit territories. She sits on the board of directors of the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) and is on the board of Advisors for the Black Physicians of Alberta Association. Dr. Bouka's main academic interest is the application of anti-racist and anti-oppressive frameworks to medical education and primary care.
